A Chicago-area man has pleaded guilty to one count of illegally selling unapproved sex drugs to undercover officers in an ongoing investigation.

According to a statement from the Illinois State Police’s office, the undercover officers “committed the unlawful sale of unapproved Viagra products for the purpose of the purchase of cash” and, “sold the drugs to undercover officers who conducted further investigation and purchased the unapproved products.”

The man pleaded guilty to the charge and is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Rebecca T. Wood.

The man faces up to 10 years in prison and $10 million in fines, along with a $20 million fine and $30 million bond. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Don W. Tuckman and U. S. Attorney Kenneth Magidson.

In a sentencing memo to the court, Tuckman noted that he “committed these charges because he thought he was getting a bargain for selling sex drugs.”

According to the note, the undercover officers purchased Viagra for the man, the bottle of Viagra, and a bottle of Super Kamagra from a pharmacy that was not part of the investigation.

In June, the U. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning about unapproved drugs being marketed for sexual enhancement and was required to take action to prevent them from causing serious health problems.

In June 2015, the Food and Drug Administration issued a warning about the sale of unapproved Viagra products, including erectile dysfunction drugs. These products include the blue and white pills marketed as the “Viagra Super Force” for use as a performance-enhancing drug. The FDA had previously warned about the safety of these drugs as it was “discriminating between consumers and healthcare professionals.”

Tuckman said that “it was my understanding that Viagra Super Force was being sold with hidden ingredients.”

He said that the FDA had warned that these products were not being sold to people with diabetes or heart disease. The FDA issued a warning about the products, which were sold without the prescription of a doctor, but not for the “use of the product without a doctor’s prescription.”

According to Tuckman, “The FDA’s warning was based on the results of a clinical trial conducted on the effects of the FDA’s use of the product.”

The man is currently being prosecuted by U. Attorney Robert G. Marder.

A copy of the plea agreement is attached to the statement.

Tuckman is currently scheduled to be sentenced on January 3, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. in the Illinois State Police’s Cook County, Illinois 91532. The case was investigated by U. Marder and U.
